What the hell is wrong with my muse?!

I honestly think I have seen all of the Supernatural episodes way too many times.


I have 1,756 words to go on my NaNo, and it seems to be wrapping up nicely.
Except that all of my main characters are likely about to die.
And they will die at the hands of cannibals.
What the hell is wrong with me?

I mean, I guess it makes sense to have cannibals, because the world just ended, pretty much, and mankind needs to "evolve" in order to survive.
But seriously, this is not how I wanted it to end.
I kinda liked the fake ending I made up with Meam yesterday, actually:

"And then the aliens invaded. Every one in this story died. 

"And Mulder said, 'Ooo, look, it’s an alien invasion.'

"'But, Mulder,' Scully replied. 'It is not yet 2012.'

"'It is not?' Mulder responded. 'Well, I guess that means we have plenty of time for sex!'

"'In your dreams, Mulder. There is work to be done.'"

I think my muse has been watching SPNs without me, because I have no idea where this cannibal thing came from.

So, my godsister is watching season 1 of SPN.  She watched the first half of episode four (Phantom Traveler) and then could not find the rest of it. So I am going to picspam her with an explanation of what happened after Chuck crashed the second plane.
