Okay, they're dressing up for Halloween down the hall.
Apparently, tonight is the Halloween party, even though tomorrow is Halloween (and Friday!).
Anywho, this, of course, sparks my yearly "I hate Halloween" mood.
I did it up when I was a kid because I didn't know any better.
But now, it's simply ridiculous.
You make yourself look like a fool and go around begging random people for candy -- even though you clearly have some at home.
I love candy, but is it worth this?
I love the horror surrounding Halloween, the myths, the scares.
I hate the evil teenagers who smash pumpkins and egg cars and throw toilet paper.
And the college students who use it as an excuse to get drunk the night before and sleep through Halloween classes.
And the repetition of the phrase "Trick or treat" really gets on my nerves.
So, yeah, I'm done ranting about Halloween.
And no, I do not have a costume.
And I don't plan to.
Ever.
Again.
